Tell me that have you ever forgotten to submit ur answers script for a test and cost u 8marks out 30? Laugh all you want (I predict laughters to be heard). I' not trying to gain sympathy, but well, DO NOT make this mistake. And if you still made the mistake after reading this, just shut the **** up. For those whom were the same boat as me, but i think this is one in a million, I offer you my condolences.

Sunday, March 12, 2006 >Back from the POP camp yesterday. I shall than depict this camp from, erm, Friday. After Cross Country which ended around 10+ 11? I reached home at.. around 11+ 12. It was tiring and i slept on the bus. hehs.so after lunch and around 1.30, I reached school.Seeing XJ polishing his boots there outside the general office.-.-And later on, we went for our Service day where we went to the blocks and spread the anti-crime message to the old residents there. There were many houses which were empty and my group encountered a uncle who was speaking hokkien.Though i knew the language, but well, there were some parts which i do not understand as well. Chiminology. This is what I say about half past sixes Singaporeans. Everything is just like 50%.
Ok, back to the main point, after service day, we made our way back to the school and we were going to have our promotion test, practical and theory. We had our theory paper first. It was 15mins long. There was a total of 6 Qns i think. The first one was some sort of case study and you were supposed to write what you would do. I wrote all types of variation that I could think of and how to resolve it. A wrong move. After the qn, i moved on to the next question. When there were 3mins left, I was still left with 4 questions! i than rushed and do, but in the end, i still left 2 or 3 questions blank. A bad start. But some others didnt finished 2 questions as well.
So we proceeded to the practical session, MOI (Method of Instruction). It is basically about how to teach a certain command. I had volunteered 4 times to do do the MOI first but well, it was the forth time than our CI(cadet inspector) called me out. I was given to teach the marching command and I guess I didnt leave anything out ya? You guys certainly co-operated well.3 cheers for sec 4s!=) So after we finished our MOI, we went to changed and for dinner. For dinner, we cooked ourselves and this certainly raked back the good and fun times in ATC. After dinner, it was games time! The Sec3s planned everything throughout the camp. Well, they certainly did quite a good job for a first-timer! But well, you guys could improve on some communication part.I shall not describe too detail about games if not, it well be very lengthy.
There were mainly 5 stations. The first one was to arrange yourself on a bench depending on how the in-charge(IC) wants you to do, than it would be the at the hall where we would have to carry a group member and give a cheer.Thrid would be to have your group member over the the other side of the place by have 2 twines and 4 poles. Forth would be to pass water using cups. But theres a catch, you are supposed to hold the cup using your mouth, or mayb, bite. But as expected, major cheating took place! LOL!than it would be to form a circle and everyone was to squat a little bit and the person in front of you was to sit on your lap. mayb not sit. So we than moved off to the last stop and supposed to open some kind of "treasure" box. lolsBut i didnt know what happened after that as i moved off to pitch the flagstaff.I can say that this would be the best flag that we ever pitched. Kudos to the 3 of us! So after that, we went to the hall and the others went to bath. while most sec 4s were there polishing boots for the POP the next day.I went to further maximise the shine on my boots and it went to the maximum. could not be anymore shinier=(.
So after that, it was sentry time. my group was the first one and it was 12.30. we were late due to unable to find a member of ours. Didnt know where did he slept and it was also because of someone giving me wrong info! so well, after sentry, i didnt do much things cept at there talking cock. Should have brought ms soon's hw. but well, when it was 2+ 3 i guess, went to catch some sleep.
The arrival of 6.30 has came and i woke up at that time. Should be 6.30 i guess. We had our PT, breakfast and than area cleaning. After this, the 3 of us unpitched the flag and later went on to help to prepare the next game- (water bomb). The game was kinda fun and quite a few got throughly wet! haha! but none could exactly hit me witht he "water bomb" hehs.*dodges*=Pso after that, the sec 3s and 4s went to change into full-U for the POP(passing out parade). But before the actualy parade, it was the giving out of the Staff Sergeant rank! My heart was beating frantically cause I had not much confidence. It was scary as they gave out the rank according to when you took your MOI.I was the 6th one i guess. The first one was louise and so on. I remembered that Gi Tiong was the one before me who took the MOI. He got the rank. And my mind was already set that, if my name isnt called the next one, i would not get the rank.To my surprise and joy, I was called to receive the rank!! WOOHOO.IT WAS THE HIGHEST POINT OF JOY! So 6 of us was being promoted but there are still 6 others whom are still pending.Congrats to Louise, GT, Zaki, Nurrizan(im not sure of spelling) and XJ!Furthermore, Congrats GT for being best unit and XJ for being SI. Well, the others do not be discouraged as well, cause from now till speech day(7th of april), there's still time!Work hard.Other than rank, Congrats to whole of Sec 4s for getting 2nd class drill as well!=)
So after the slow march, which means we had passed out, we could throw our baret! wahhaha.and till 12pm, we could walk without our baret even not in the shade!=DDDDDD
but well, after returning home and eating lunch, i went to sleep!and after waking up, as expected, whole bady ached.
Wednesday, March 08, 2006 >A lesson learnt
I'hv learnt a lesson. Never ever read or write thoughts that are too deep inside. If you choose the otherwise, it would be equilavent to dig a deeper grave for yourself.
There's a cycle of life that goes, as we grow from a toddler, our mentality tend to become mature. But after that maturity age, our mentality seems to change and we would tend to think of the childhood memories that we enjoyed. Is this because as we grow older, we tend to appreciate the past? we never grow up from the time we are born till we reach the grave? or.. is it just because we humans are stubborn and refuse to let go of the past?
Give some thought.
Sunday, March 05, 2006 >(Note : This post would be long. If you cant stand it, pls do not read it)
I guess this would be one of the most optimistic post so far. Well, i still hope i would not fall into that dark area.
After wasting 15+ years of my life, I would allow myself to reaserve a place in my mind for yesterday. It was a hell load of fun that none could deny.
Woke up at 6. Reached school at 6.40, and xj, pls wake up earlier in future!! but I doubt we would haf this chance anymore, sigh.
Well, we took the pump boat,as usual, from Changi Jetty to Pulau Ubin. Walked or trekked, which ever you like, we reached the noordin campsite. After some briefing, our area had the chance to do the high elements first- adventure course training(ACT), tunnel, flying fox(FF), dangle duo, Leap of Faith(LOF) and a "workshop"(debrief).
Everyone was excited and theres only smiles in all faces. Or maybe, shoutings. I did that ACT first, of course, not in the sense of first to do, its of all the activities, our group was the first to do that activity. 8 other friends and I went up to the.. erm, tower i guess. its at least.. 5 storeys high? i was the 3rd one whom try it. Fear was running through my body like CRAZY! Too much adrenaline. Btw, was it my unluckyness that when it was my turn, there was such strong wind! and furthermore, i totally understood the feelings of those people in fear factor! In the ACT, there were 3 parts to it. Firstly, you are supposed to walk on 2 cables where you can hold on the the rope tied to a cable hanging above you. But the most infuriating part was the carribeana(pls tell me the correct spelling). You would have to pull it as you walk, if not, how are you gonna move on as the carribeana was on another cable above you. But well, thats a safety measure. As for how far the distance it is, Im truly not sure. Who would care about the distance when you are filled with fear and anxiety! After that, you are supposed sit on something and pull yourself over. When it was halfway through, the wind grew so big that i was shaking back and forth! comon, im not tired and do not need you to rock me to sleep ok?! towards the end of pulling myself over, it was kinda stuck.. and i would have to climb on a ladder hanging on a cable above me and make myself over to the other platform. After this, i would have to walk on 2 cables again, but now, its with a negligible tension rope for support. And now, it wasnt that scary after the first 2 parts. Next, 8 other friends and I went to try the tunnel as told by the instructor. We were told that there were 3 routes and only one was right. If we were to go to the wrong one, we are screwed. (of course, this is the term I used myself) All 9 of us entered the tunnel and after the opening was closed, it was pitch black! truly, pitch black. and i finally understood the feeling of a blind. After moving in a while, we had 2 routes. one to continue in front, and the other to turn left. As there was a slide down the left, we tried to move front. All of us were like snake and held each other as we moved on. Kudos to our unity! Back to the topic, we reached a dead end and had to move back and we turned left. We than changed our formation and all of us lied down holding each others legs of the person above us. Moved forward and well, We reached the end point! AT the end, there were even some balls and quite a steep slope up. So we need ed the person infront of us to pull us up. But as for the first person, i forgot to ask him how did he go up in the first place. =/
After doing that, we proceeded to the firefox as intructed. We would have to wait for our turn and each time, only 2 person are allowed to go. When it was our turn( me and TJ), we proceeded to the 10 storeys high pyramid. It was really high. When i took off, it was just the starting 2 seconds that was scary as the force is the greatest i guess. Than, i was enjoying the ride at the back. Than we headed to the training shed for our "workshop". And it was lunch now! We went to took our boxes of lunch and well, i guess it was kind of mistake that xj and i was mistaken for being a vegetarian. XJ wrote no sotong and i wrote no beef under the food duno what section. So well, we have to accept things in life. And as we started eating, Mr chng was there with us too. I shall not talk about the details of what we said. hehs=P. And as we started eating, Mr Chng gave xj and I and chicken to share from his lunch. Thanks! :) and now, there came CI Jason with his 2 1.5 litres 100plus. Another big thank you! I appreciate this 2 gratitude lots! hehs.
So after finishing, we thought that we could still continue with our high elements but well, we couldn't and proceeded to the team building games. But well, I did complete 4 out of 6 activities which is what you get for volunteering yourself at the start. As some only did 2 or 3 I guess. The only thing that is sad was that I couldnt do the LOF and dangle duo. But anyway, the team building which has 6 stations as well, we did 4 only. Though the team building game wasnt as exciting, it was fun as we bonded together very well! Gambatteh Sec 4s! The first was something like getting everyone across to another place with a limited amount of cardboard pieces. If there was a board that is without physical contact, it would be taken away, but if we did cheers that the instructor felt happy with it, he would give us an extra one. There was even once or twice where 5 of us squeezed into a cardboard itself! i seriously wondered how we did it when i think of it! And we finally completed the thing in 23min which is kinda long. After that, we did the 2nd activity called minefield where we would have to choose the correct boxes to walk. if not, we would be "dead" if we stepped on the wrong box. We were quite fast where we finished the activity in like, 10mins? where each activity is supposed to last 30mins. Than, Keith now has another nickname called "Ubin boy"! haha. it was also kind of weird or fun that we even sang the school song there! Mdm Lim you should have hear it! The instructor than asked 1 of us to say a joke which could make him and all of us laughed. I couldn't remember who was the 1st one to say the joke, but JX was the 2nd one i remembered. He told a kind of riddle-joke but the instructor just couldnt get it! LOL!
Well, the next activity was that we have to from a caterpillar with a ballon between you and the person. and you would have to take the bottles arranged there. It was kind of easy too. And TJ, trust the instructors man! haha. Than, the next activity was the passing of marbles through the short pipes provided by instrutors. It was easy too.
After each activity, our individual instructors of each activity gave us a debrief of the activity we done. And the most meaningful one would be the one given by the 3rd instructor. hehs. And it was also reaching 4 o'clock that our 4th activity finished. We were to head back to jetty now. And as we reached the jetty at around 4+ 5? we saw 2 wedding couples going to ubin and take wedding photos! it was quite a nice scene where love rang through the air. I guess we reached school at around 6 and we headed back home! Lets get together next Friday-Saturday again!
Cheers!

Quotes
"if someone loves you,
love them back not only because they love you,
but also because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes
to things you have never seen or felt without them."
(ripped from solasura-honz)
As you envelope my mind,
thoughts are all about you.
I hope that you could walk into the ghost of me.
My heart have been delievered to your doorstep, do you accept this mail?
Could you pull out some time for me
and give both of us a chance to be together.
Waiting isn't a problem,
losing you would be the biggest trauma I would get.
May this day where our hearts bond together come soon.
Love is patient and kind; it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope and patience never fail. Love is eternal.
A recollection of poetry
"Twilight funeral"
Blackened and cold is the dusk
A veil where the shadows watch
Behind the dim requiems of light
When blindness envelopes our eyes
Silent and unholy is the dusk
A hole where the demons smirk
Beyond the clutters of human life
When deafness embraces our ears
Sable nothingness is the dusk
A shroud where the ravens flock
Tainting the purity of white clouds
When darkness devours our hearts
Inevitable death is the dusk
A cloak where the daggers hide
Under the facade of tranquility
When mortality is but a quip
- Solasura
"Muted Joy"
Words appearing before aquamarine eyes,
Inner warmth awakened.
Coldened heart was melted,
returning to its liquidfied state.
Hopes of rain fallen,
sheltered by feelings.
Flooded everywhere,
but not a single drop here.
Tune rings by the ears,
Emotions being mixed up.
Weak and deplorable,
Just takes the shape of you.
Ensnared by you,
Unintentionally or intentionally,
unable to be freed,
till Reaper's Scythe appears.
Which will appear first, rain or scythe?
"Solitude"
Time flies when words strung out,
numbing the bitter nerve.
Defrostation took place,
Everything seem to be in summer,
From the frosted white fingers,
darkness in the heart,
you brought warmth and light.
Turning upon an unretaliatable liquid.
Just as words strung out once again,
froze all happiness in me.
Bitterness awakened,
Negligible autumn, forver winterness.
Eclipse seems to take place forever.
Light and warmth never took place,
Darkness and chill,
mutated the mind into an unfeeling solid.
When solitude occurs, does anyone bothers?
- Takizawa
